Mint Chocolate Chip Shake

This does have an herbal-y note to it, which is awesome if you love fresh mint. If you hate herbs and are looking for a straight-up shamrock shake, you may not be as enthused.

This is actually Cindy Crawford’s famous mint shake recipe (she has shared it in a number of magazines) with a scoop of protein added.

I don’t live in a trendy enough area to get cacao nibs as she uses, so I just sub chocolate chips. You do have to chew them a bit when you hit the end of the smoothie (which might even be the best part).

Vanilla protein powder works better in this than chocolate to preserve the color of the shake.
