Hey, I’m Laura. This is my blog where I write about lifting.

On this blog, I like to share programming ideas, training tips, favorite lift variations, personal lifting experiences and recipes.

I’m a strength coach who specializes in strength and combat sports. I have been training for over 25 years, lift competitively, and have an elite powerlifting total in the 132lb weight class. My last competition’s lifts were as follows:

Squat 275lbs | Bench 170lbs | Deadlift 400lbs

Wilks 429.55 | Open Powerlifting

As far as formal credentials go, I’ve got a few fancy pieces of paper, but my experience comes primarily from my own time under the bar and working with others.
